Few weeks back I had the privilege to attend the CMT Awards in Nashville. When I received this news I instantly started looking up dresses, rompers, pantsuits you name it. It actually took me several months to create the perfect show-stoppin’ look to grab the right amount of attention without over doing it.
When deciding on what to wear to the awards I knew I wanted to go for more of an edgy look, yet still have the comfort factor. So as us Frisky Gypsies like to say we were totally going for the “Romper Game.” After months & months of searching & many failed online purchases for the perfect romper I finally stumbled upon this gem 3 days before heading out to Nashville. A nifty little white (No Tux Given Romper) from Nasty Gal. Being a bigger busted gal the plunging neckline on this romper was a little too much cleavage for me. To avoid having a terrifying nip slip while dancin’ around at the awards, I rocked a black lace Meowzing Bralette (The Ashton) underneath to give a nice little peekaboo of lace instead of bare skin.
For my shoes I wanted to be as comfortable as possible standing, sitting, & walking around all night at the awards & wherever else I ended up that night. So I wore a simple pair of strappy black Dollhouse Wedges that have been in my closet for years. (Similar pair sold at Steve Madden)
For accessories I didn’t want to go to crazy with jewelry so I wore only a couple of pieces. To add some shimmer around my neckline I wore one of my favorite necklaces from Knot & Bow Designs (Lovestruck Druzzy Necklace). Around my wrist I rocked a Gold Shimmered out Michael Kors Watch (Camille Pavé Gold-Tone Watch) These cool pieces were the perfect touch to this show stoppin’ look.
